Westin grew up in Berkeley, California and has lived in Richmond, Albany, El Cerrito, and has currently been in Oakland since 2014. He’s also lived in Marin County in Corte Madera, and Kentfield where he went to middle school.
Westin attended Cal State East Bay in Hayward to attain a degree in Business Finance because of his interest in helping others build generational wealth, and became interested in real estate after taking a Real Estate Finance course. Westin’s affinity for numbers allowed him to shine and kept him interested in making the numbers work when it came to investing in real estate. Through learning about real estate finance, he knew he’d be able to help people improve their lives by truly understanding how to use investing in real estate as a vehicle for creating generational wealth for their families.
Westin’s family is involved in consulting for the Title 24 Part 6 California energy standards for new construction under the California Building Energy Code. He uses his knowledge in construction and energy standards to help clients identify potential problems with homes and how they could be improved to reduce energy costs and value.
In his down time, Westin enjoys playing soccer and spending time out in nature. He loves good food, music, working out at the gym, drumming, chess, and of course spending time with friends and family. But most of all, he loves helping people. His biggest passion is helping people create wealth and security for themselves and their families.
